Man Utd midfielder unavailable to face Leeds United

Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount remains sidelined for the friendly against Leeds United at Croke Park this evening.

The England international has been the club's standout midfielder in pre-season, but he won't be involved against the Whites in Dublin.

Mount received a bad kick during the first half against Paris Saint-Germain recently, and he was quickly replaced by club graduate Tyler Fletcher.

After the game, manager Michael Carrick clarified that the concern was nothing serious, but the midfielder has yet to report for training.

Hence, he is certain to be sidelined for today's friendly, but will be hoping to recover in time for the final pre-season match against AC Milan.

United have had a solid preparation ahead of the new campaign. They have picked up two victories, one draw and a solitary defeat.

Carrick will want the Red Devils to find momentum with back-to-back wins before the Premier League opener at Hull City on August 22.
