Savinho to join Tottenham next week

Manchester City and Tottenham have reached an agreement in the sale of Savinho on Friday evening, and the Brazilian winger will make the move to Spurs early next week. It is understood that Enzo Maresca has approved the sale of the player, and now the former Girona and PSV Eindhoven star will travel to North London to discuss personal terms.

Tottenham have long been admirers of Savinho, with the striker failing to reach the levels required at the Etihad Stadium, and he will be allowed to leave for a new challenge elsewhere. 

Savinho, who has 13 caps for Brazil, is said to be eager for more first-team opportunities, and these will be available at Tottenham under manager Roberto De Zerbi.

Spurs have been extremely busy in the transfer window this summer, including the major acquisitions of duo Sandro Tonali from Newcastle and Mateus Fernandes from West Ham. It is understood that Savinho will complete Tottenham's attacking reshuffle ahead of the new campaign, with the club spending close to £300 million on new players.
