Man Utd handed double injury boost for Ipswich game

Manchester United have been handed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on Sunday.

The Red Devils started their league campaign in the worst possible fashion. They suffered a shock 2-0 loss to newly promoted Hull City on the road.

Manager Michael Carrick will want a strong response to the result against Ipswich. Ahead of the game, United are poised for a double injury boost.

Mason Mount and Amad Diallo were sidelined for the Hull trip with minor injuries, and they are likely to recover in time to face the Tractor Boys.

It was initially claimed that Amad could be sidelined for up to six weeks, but those fears have been rubbished following his medical examination.

United have a brilliant league record against Ipswich at home, and have not suffered a defeat in four decades. They will be eyeing a big win on Sunday.

Mount and Diallo are likely to feature on the bench if deemed fit.
