Moises Caicedo & Reece James absent from Chelsea training

Chelsea duo Moises Caicedo and Reece James could be doubtful for the Premier League clash against Brentford on the road on Friday night.

Caicedo has not featured for the Blues since his injury against Brighton & Hove Albion, and it appears he may not be ready after missing today's training session.

Alongside him, James could also miss the match. The Englishman was nowhere to be seen in today's session and could be doubtful for Friday's derby away from home.

Meanwhile, there is one confirmed injury blow. Joao Pedro looks poised to miss out after being withdrawn from Brazil's squad for upcoming friendlies.

Pedro has been in superb form with six goal contributions in four league games, and his absence is a big blow for the Blues ahead of the west London derby.

Chelsea have had a mixed start to the campaign, and they are currently sixth in the standings with seven points, already five behind leaders Arsenal.
