Arsenal handed big injury boost on playmaker

Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost on Martin Odegaard ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United next month.

The Norwegian has been in fantastic form for club and country this campaign but he recently suffered a knock to his ankle after a reckless challenge from Portugal's Bernardo Silva.

Odegaard was far from pleased with the challenge, and he also missed yesterday's training session. However, he was back with his Norwegian team earlier today.

He looks to have made a good recovery from the untimely knock and should be fit to face Wales in the next Nations League match on Thursday night.

Odegaard will most likely start the return fixture against Portugal too. Arsenal will hope that he will return to the club without any injury concerns.

The 27-year-old has been Arsenal's standout performer in the early part of the new campaign and has already netted four goals in all competitions.
