Everton preparing fresh move for Man Utd ace

Everton are weighing up a fresh move for Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee when the transfer window reopens this winter.

The Merseyside outfit explored a loan deal for the Dutchman before the summer transfer deadline, but a move did not materialise.

United were open to the possibility of parting ways with the Netherlands ace, but they wanted a conditional obligation to buy included.

This has not ended the Toffees' pursuit of the striker, and they are planning a fresh approach for the former Bologna man ahead of January.

David Moyes' side have just one senior striker in the form of Thierno Barry after the departure of Beto to Serie A with Fiorentina.

They tried to land Folarin Balogun from Monaco on transfer deadline day this summer, but a disagreement pulled the plug on the proposed deal.

Everton are prepared to try again for Zirkzee and believe they can secure a loan this time, given United are lining up a replacement too.
