Michael Carrick expected to drop winger vs Como

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is widely expected to drop Amad Diallo from the starting XI during the Champions League clash against Como on the road.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the campaign, and they have picked up just two wins after the first 10 matches in all competitions.

The hierarchy continue to fully support the manager, but it may not be long before they contemplate a change if the current run continues.

Carrick is expected to make several changes against Como, and one of those will be on the right flank, with Amad dropping to the bench again.

The Ivorian barely offered an attacking threat and he was poor with his crossing. He looks to be struggling for confidence at the moment.

Bryan Mbeumo, who has led the line lately, could replace Amad on the right wing in midweek with Matheus Cunha operating upfront.

United will be aiming to end a six-match winless streak at Como.
