Moises Caicedo sends message after Chelsea loss vs Spurs

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has said that the Blues must learn from the disappointing Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The west London giants suffered a 2-0 loss to Spurs in front of their fans yesterday. It was their first loss to their arch-rivals in seven meetings and came as a surprise.

After the game, there has been much criticism directed towards the players, given Spurs dominated proceedings with more than two-thirds possession.

When asked about the result, Caicedo acknowledged that the Blues must stop repeating the same and have to learn from the dismal defeat.

He told the club's official website: "We need to learn from this because we need to stop this from happening and we need to maintain the clean sheet for the whole game. It was a tough one."

Despite the defeat, Chelsea are only fifth in the league standings, but they have now fallen eight points behind Manchester City, who are top of the table after eight matches into the season.
