Man Utd make Michael Carrick decision ahead of Chelsea game

Manchester United have decided to continue with Michael Carrick as manager ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea on the road this weekend.

The Red Devils have been in a horrendous run of form, and they are currently winless in eight matches across all competitions.

The club recently suffered a heavy 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, and this led to speculation that Carrick could be dismissed.

However, United have not opted to part ways with him and have instead decided to give him more time to turn things around.

Carrick will remain in charge of the upcoming league trip to Chelsea and could continue at the helm until the international break.

If things don't improve by then, the hierarchy could make the choice to part ways with his services during the international break.

United will go into Saturday's league game as underdogs, but they have an advantage with the Blues in midweek League Cup action.

Chelsea face Liverpool on the road on Wednesday night.
