Man Utd star ruled out until January with shin injury

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has been ruled out until January with a recurrence of a shin injury, according to The Athletic.
The Slovenian has been struggling with a shin issue since the end of last season and he suffered another recurrence earlier this campaign.
United have not provided an exact return date, but The Athletic have confirmed that the concern is indeed serious enough to keep him out until the New Year.
There is also no assurance that the striker will be deemed fully fit at the start of 2027 and he may need to be eased back into first-team action.
Hence, United could enter the transfer market for a new striker, considering the struggles upfront during the extended absence of Sesko lately.
Joshua Zirkzee is the back-up striker in the current squad, but he has yet to make a start in any competition for the Red Devils this campaign.
Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have led the line recently.
