Man Utd eyeing deal for Leeds United star?

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a surprise move for Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin this winter.

The Red Devils have had a dismal start to the Premier League campaign, picking up only seven points from eight games.

They have now suffered a major headache with Benjamin Sesko potentially out until at least January with a shin injury.

The Slovenian could potentially be sidelined for even longer, given he could take several weeks to regain full match fitness.

Hence, United are in the market for a physical striker at the turn of the year, and Calvert-Lewin has emerged as a top target.

The 29-year-old had a solid debut campaign for Leeds last term with 15 goals, and he has already netted five this season.

United believe he would be an ideal signing for them, but Leeds are expected to stand firm on keeping his services.

The Whites have no desire to entertain the sale of their leading marksman at the halfway stage of the current campaign.
