Clichy signs Arsenal deal

Arsenal defender Gael Clichy has signed a new deal with the club. The French defender has signed a long term deal believed to be worth in the region of £40,000 a week.

There had been speculation that Clichy would join either Roma or Juventus last week after there was some speculation he could leave.

However, it seems that all talk was speculation as the player instead inked a new deal with Arsene Wenger on Friday afternoon in London.
