Barcelona chase Gomis

Barcelona are apparently interested in signing Bafetimbi Gomis, the French international who has impressed in the last season for his club St. Etienne in Ligue 1.

It is understood that Barcelona's first choice is Emmanuel Adebayor, and they hope to land the Togo international from Arsenal.

However, they are now turning their attentions to Les Verts' striker Gomis, and are ready to pay £13 million to land the France international.
