Fulham boss Roy Hodgson could make a shock loan move for Paul Codrea, currently playing for Siena in Serie A. The Romanian international midfielder is desperate for a move to the Premiership.
Codrea is regarded in Romania as one of the best players in the country, and the player was recently awarded a medal for his services to football by the country's president.
Fulham are believed to be ready to offer Siena £750,000 for a one season loan of the defensive midfielder, and with the potential of a £4 million permanent deal at the end of the 2008/2009 season.
