Valencia sports chief Xabier Azkargorta has hinted that he may make a move for Espanyol's Cameroon international goalkeeper Idris Kameni this summer.
The Cameroonian is one of the emost highly rated keepers in La Liga, and it is understood that Valencia are now set to make a £5 million offer.
Tottenham and Arsenal were among some of the club's in the Premiership ready to make an offer for Kameni, but Spurs decided to move for PSV Eindhoven goalie Gomes instead, whilst Arsene Wenger will stick with Spanish shot stopper Manuel Almunia next year.
Now Valencia are ready to test Espanyol's patience in their chase to land Kameni.
