Goian may join Sunderland

Sunderland are tracking Romania international defender Dorin Goian, and are believed to be ready to pay £3.5 million to land the Romanian international.

It is understood that Roy Keane is desperate to land a top class international defender, and the Romanian international seems to fit the bill.

Goian impressed during Euro 2008 for Romania, and there are several Italian clubs also considering a move for the talented defender.
