Vicente Del Bosque is the favorite to replace Luis Aragones; who has moved to Fenerbahce after failing to agree a deal with the Spanish football federation to stay on as boss after winning the Euro 2008 tournament.

Now the former Real Madrid coach Del Bosque has emerged as the early front runner to take charge of Spain.

There are even reports in Spain that Del Bosque has already agreed a two year deal, with the aim of leading Spain to the World Cup in 2010.

It is understood that the move for Del Bosque is currently in the approval stage, and that the 47 members of the Spanish Football Federation have to decide whether or not Del Bosque gets the role.
