Johnson close to Fulham move
Everton forward Andy Johnson looks a step closer to securing his move from the Toffees to Fulham after the forward sat out the friendly match against Nottingham Forest. Johnson is likely to move to Craven Cottage in a £7 million deal.
Everton boss David Moyes has already made moves to replace the England international; and Joao Moutinho is currently top of his list.
Last season, Johnson did not manage to replicate the goalscoring form of the season before; and players such as Victor Anichebe proved they are capable of playing in the Everton first XI too.
Johnson will join Fulham to link up with Roy Hodgson, who is keen to build a new look side for the next season.
