Tottenham chase Cavenaghi

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is in the market for Bordeaux frontman Fernando Cavenaghi, if reports from England are to be believed this morning.

It is believed that Harry Redknapp wishes to add the Argentinian forward to his attack and will be willing to pay £8 million for the privilege.

Formerly of River Plate, Cavenaghi has continued his exploits in the French leagues for Bordeaux and has attracted the attentions of several world scouts.
