Big guns after Veloso
Man Utd and Arsenal are both tracking Sporting Lisbon's central midfielder Miguel Veloso. The Portuguese U-21 international has a clause in his contract that would allow his release for £15m in June 2008.
Veloso has been highly-rated in Portugal for some time, and in a Champions League clash last season was named man of the match for preventing the threat of Luis Figo and Patrick Vieira.
In August 14, 2007, Miguel Veloso was called up for the Portuguese national squad for the first time, for a Euro 2008 qualifier against Armenia.
