Ribery may leave Bayern

Real Madrid and Manchester United are reportedly chasing Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery. It is understood that Bayern Munich would be willing to any reasonable offer for the Frenchman.

Beckenbauer confirmed his worries in a press conference.

Der Kaizer said: "It's a short time until 2011. If we receive a good offer from Real Madrid or Manchester United we would be in a weak position to negotiate, especially if Ribery wants to leave.

"We may still insist that he serves out his contract, but if the offer is good enough, you never know what can happen. It's complicated to deal with the desires of a footballer."
