Dan Harding joins Reading on loan

Reading have signed Dan Harding from Ipswich on a loan deal.The deal will see him play for the Royals until the end of the season.

Reading have strengthened their defense by adding 25 year old Dan Harding from Ipswich on a loan deal. Harding is currently "out of favour" in Ipswich and was loaned to Southend United where he wanted to move on a permanent deal.

The former England U-21international is looking forward to revive his career and Reading will be a great opportunity for him.

Steve Coppell knows him from the days in Brighton, incidentally, Coppell gave Harding his full league debut as a 19 year old back in 2003.

Coppell has faith in his former player and his ability to play "anywhere in the left" would be an added advantage for the Royals.

"He will give us that extra edge in the later half of the season and will add more depth to the squad." said Coppell.
