ARSENAL SIGN ARSHAVIN

There are unconfirmed reports that Arsenal have sealed the signing of Russian midfielder Andrei Arshavin from Zenit St Petersburg for a fee in the region of £15 million GBP.

Arshavin's deal hung in the balance as the Gunners and the Russian side failed to agree a fee.

Arshavin had one of the most impressive Euro 2008 tournaments, and will now link up with Arsene Wenger in the hope of saving the Gunners' season.

It is believed that Arsenal have paid in the region of £15 million GBP for the Russian.
