The Scottish PFA awards

Celtic midfielder, Scott Brown, was named as the Scottish PFA Player of the Year. Their manager Gordon Strachan won the Manager of the Year award for the second time.

Scott Brown helped Celtic win the Scottish Premier League and was an important part in winning the Co-operative Insurance Cup. He won the award beating his team-mate Gary Caldwell and Rangers duo Pedro Mendes and Steven Davis.

Brown was signed by Celtic boss, Strachan, for £4.4m from Hibernian.

Gordon Strachan beat last year's winner Billy Reid(Hamilton) and Derek McInnes(St. Johnstone).

The young player of the year went to Hamilton's winger James McCarthy.
