Wigan to sign Kris Commons
Wigan to sign Kris Commons
Wigan Athletic boss Steve Bruce is reportedly interested in signing Scotland international Kris Commons. The 25-year old winger might be in the Premier League next season if the deal happens.
Steve Bruce is keen to bring the attacker to the JJB and is willing to pay the asking rate of £5m. He had tried to land the player in the January transfer window, but, failed to to do so.
Commons had been in good form this season scoring 7 goals in 34 matches for Derby . They signed him from Nottingham Forest in 2008 as a free transfer. The Derby boss, Nigel Clough, seems to be reluctant to let him go, the staggering £5m asking rate explains it.
Derby are set to sell a few other players including Jordan Stewart, Mile Sterjovski, Ruben Zadkovich and Martin Albrechtsen.
