Ze Roberto heading to Arsenal?

Arsenal are apparently set to make a shock move for Bayern Munich's talented Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto, who has a contract that expires with the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at the end of June this year.

It is believed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to give the midfielder a whopping £75,000 per week to join the Gunners, on a one year contract. Wenger feels that the time is now right to bring in more experienced midfielders and Ze Roberto fits the bill.

The Bayern Munich man has been inspirational since returning to the Bavarian side from Santos two years ago, but is now believed to be keen to try his luck in another of the European big leagues.

Ze Roberto is sure to be the kind of influence that the Arsenal fans have been looking for the club to buy since the departure of Patrick Vieira.
