Stars would leave Arsenal - Hleb
Former Arsenal midfielder, Aleksander Hleb, said that top stars in the Gunners squad would leave the club due to the rigid pay structure. The Belarusian international had moved to Barcelona last summer with double pay package.
Alex Hleb had been one of the gems in the Arsenal squad a year ago, before he moved to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. He said that finances are always an issue at Arsenal and this might make the top players to move on to better paying clubs.
He had moved to Barcelona for double the wages he got in Arsenal.
"A football life is short. You want to enjoy football but you also need to earn money."
Another midfielder who left Arsenal for a better contract option is Mathieu Flamini. If Arsenal does not re-structure the wages, more and more top players might leave the Emirates.
