Juve land Diego for £21.5m

Italian giants Juventus have officially signed Diego from Werder Bremen for £21.5m on a five year deal. The Brazilian had been in impressive form for Werder Bremen this season scoring 12 goals in 21 games.

Diego completed the medical in Turin, Juventus have officially announced that the Brazilian will play for them until the end of season 2014. He had two years left on his contract with Werder Bremen, but, he had already said that he needed a new challenge.

He joined the Bundesliga club from Porto in 2006.
