Atletico sign Leandro Cabrera

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of young Uruguayan Leandro Cabrera from Defensor Sporting in a deal believed to be worth in the region of about £1 million.

Cabrera is regarded by many in his homeland to be one of the best up and coming prospects from the South American country.

Cabrera, a talented versatile defender, comes to Spain with two years valuable experience with Sporting which saw the youngster shoot to fame.
