Anton Ferdinand rules out Fulham
Anton Ferdinand has revealed that he is committed to the cause at the Stadium of Light under Steve Bruce, insisting he wants to stay at Sunderland despite interest from Fulham and Tottenham.
There had been rumours that Fulham have made an offer of £5 million for the former West Ham player, but the deal was scuppered by the player himself who wishes to stay at the Stadium of Light. Tottenham were also ready to make an offer for the former England under-21 international.
"I'm not sure about interest from other clubs but it is the last thing on my mind. I signed a four-year deal and it wouldn't be fair to stay one year then leave," said the defender.
