Steven Taylor to Aston Villa
Steven Taylor to Aston Villa
Newcastle defender Steven Taylor has emerged as a target for Martin O'Neill's side Aston Villa. It is believed that the Midlands' side will make a bid of £5 .5 million to bring the defender to the club.
Taylor has been identified as a long-term replacement for Martin Laursen, who unfortunately retired at the end of the past season.
Taylor has also been linked with a move to Chelsea and Man Utd, but a move to Villa looks more feasible as Chelsea are putting their sights on defensive prospects elsewhere and Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson has revealed that no more signings will be made this summer.
