Notts County eye Roberto Mancini

Notts County director of football Sven-Goran Eriksson is ready to rekindle his interest in old friend Roberto Mancini, and bring him to the club to take the vacant role after Ian MacPartland was relieved of his duties.

Eriksson is desperate to land a high profile manager to take charge of the ambitious side, who were taken over by unknown investment group Murto Finance.

Mancini will be offered a whopping £5 million per season to take charge of County.
