Blackburn return for Santa Cruz?

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is ready to rescue Roque Santa Cruz from his Man City hell by offering him a pay-as-you-play switch to Ewood Park.

If the rumours are to be believed, Blackburn will pay half of his salary - around 50,000 GBP - to bring the player to the club.

Man City are looking for a short term loan and then a permanent switch for the striker who has found his opportunities limited at the City of Manchester Stadium.
