Liverpool watch Santi Cazorla

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has been recommended Villarreal winger Santi Cazorla by goalkeeper Pepe Reina. Cazorla is on the fringes of the Spain international side and has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe.

A report suggests that Kenny Dalglish is currently working with his scouts to prepare a dossier on Cazorla, who has also attracted interest from Barcelona.

The player is valued at around £17 million by his club Villarreal, and has two years left on his current contract.
