Villas-Boas won't join Inter
Inter Milan have announced that Andre Villas-Boas is not one of the coaches on their shortlist. Speculation in the Italian press suggested that the Porto coach was being lined up as a replacement for Leonardo.
Mario Branca, the sporting director at Inter Milan, has rejected reports that the club will make a move for the Porto coach.
Branca said: "It is only right for me to point out something that has been whipped up by understandable media speculation. All told, for some time everyone in the football world has well known the bond between Villas-Boas and Porto.
"He has a contract with a high buy-out clause, though that is not the only reason he is excluded from the list of candidates for the Inter bench."
