Wes Brown ready to join Everton

Man Utd defender Wes Brown is reportedly ready to leave Old Trafford in favour of a move to Goodison Park with Everton. The player has been with the Reds for nearly 15 years, but has told friends that he would like to finish his career elsewhere.

The 31 year old defender has found himself warming the bench at Old Trafford for most of his career, and has now admitted as he reaches his peak he would like regular first-team football.

Brown has won everything there is to be won with United, and now has hinted that a transfer to a smaller club with regular first team football would be attractive in the latter stages of his career.
