Man City linked with Villa switch

Barcelona striker David Villa is reportedly on a list of transfer targets for Roberto Mancini. The Spanish forward may be allowed to join Man City if an offer of 35m GBP is matched.

The former Valencia striker may be sold to raise funds for Barcelona as they chase Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas as well as forward Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal.

Barcelona do not have enough funds to secure the signings of both, and so Villa could be allowed to quit the club.
