Jose Antonio Reyes rejects Gala

Atletico Madrid striker Jose Antonio Reyes has rejected a move to Galatasaray. The former Arsenal forward has opted to stay in Spain next season.

It is understood Galatasaray made a 12m GBP offer for the Spaniard, but the player rejected the move.

"After the meeting which the player had on Tuesday in Seville with his agent, Mariano Aguilar, and the Atletico sporting director, Jose Luis Perez Caminero, all parties have agreed to decline the offer of Galatasaray, so the player will remain part of Atletico Madrid's first squad for the next season," said a club statement.
