Adebayor heading to Russia?

According to reports, Russian side Zenit St Petersburg have made a 15m GBP offer for Emmanuel Adebayor. The Man City man is not required by Roberto Mancini next year.

Real Madrid took the Togo international on loan from City last year but decided not to buy the player permanently.

Subsequently, the player has returned to Man City but is looking to engineer a move away.

Whether or not Adebayor sees himself playing in Russia is another thing; with some suggesting he is waiting for a move back to Spain.
