Matuidi wants Arsenal move

Saint Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi has revealed that he wants to move to Arsenal, despite Newcastle expressing an interest in the player.

Matuidi said: “I am flattered by the interest from clubs abroad and I have always loved the Premier League. It is the best league in the world, so exciting. I really want to be part of that.”

It is understood the Gunners are considering a £5 million offer for the highly rated player.

Matuidi has been linked with a move to the Emirates last year already.
