Man City offer for Clichy?

Manchester City are set to offer Arsenal 9.5m GBP for unsettled left back Gael Clichy. According to reports on Thursday morning, the Gunners have accepted an offer already from the Citizens and Clichy is heading to Manchester for contract discussions.

For over 3 months there has been continuous speculation regarding the future of the Frenchman, with reports that Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Lyon were all interested in the full back.

With one year left on his Arsenal contract, Arsene Wenger has decided to let the player leave now instead of leaving for free next summer.

The Gunners are already considering a move for Newcastle left back Jose Enrique as a replacement.
