Liverpool offer Aquilani to Spurs

Liverpool have offered Alberto Aquilani to Tottenham, according to a report. Spurs have an interest in the Italian midfielder, and it is understood that the Reds are planning to use Aquilani as a makeweight in a transfer move for Aaron Lennon.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is unlikely to want to part with star winger Aaron Lennon, however he does have an interest in the Italian midfielder Aquilani.

Spurs will offer a cut price £7.5m to lure the player, who spent last year on loan in Italy, to White Hart Lane.
