Rodwell staying at Everton

Everton will focus on keeping Jack Rodwell this summer; the club have moved to reject talk of their young midfielder leaving the club. Tottenham and Chelsea had been linked with the youngster this summer.

Last week, there was talk of a £15m offer from Chelsea for the youngster.

Rodwell himself was even ready to leave Everton if an interesting offer was made.

However, David Moyes has vetoed any transfer and said Rodwell will stay and be an important part of the first team for years to come.
