Gael Clichy completes Man City move

Gael Clichy has completed his 7.5m GBP move from Arsenal to Manchester City. The left back has signed a five year deal with the Citizens and will link up with his new team mates tomorrow.

Clichy said: "There is no limit at Manchester City. Of course, you have to be realistic but there is no limit. Where they have come from in three years is phenomenal. And I want to win things."

The signing will come as a blow to Arsenal, for who Clichy played for eight years. The Gunners could not agree terms with the Frenchman and with one year remaining on his contract, Arsenal decided to let the player leave.

Clichy has signed a contract at Man City worth 75,000 GBP per week.
