Tottenham to beat Arsenal to Suso signing?
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading Arsenal in the race to sign AC Milan midfielder Suso during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Liverpool in the summer of 2015 after a disappointing league stint and he has since contributed 42 goals in the Serie A alone.
According to The Mirror, both Spurs and Gunners are keeping tabs on the Spain international, who could pursue a fresh challenge away from Milan when the season concludes.
However, it is added that Spurs could have the upper hand of signing the former Reds ace, given they are said to be more desperate to land his services in the summer.
Suso, who has a £35m release clause on his existing deal, has previously indicated that he would fancy the prospect of returning to the Premier League in the future.
Milan have yet to negotiate a new contract with the Spaniard beyond the summer of 2022 and their reluctance to do so, could see them helpless in their bid to keep hold of the midfielder beyond the summer.
