Napoli interested in Liverpool's Lucas Leiva
Napoli are set to make a January transfer offer for Liverpool's defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva.
Napoli manager Rafael Benitez is keen on strengthening his midfield department and is ready to add a number of players during the transfer window.
The Spaniard who was responsible in bringing Lucas to Anfield from Brazilian outfit Gremion back in 2007, is ready to lure the Reds' anchorman to Naples, with the prospect of playing in the Champions League.
Napoli are also interested in Lyon's Maxime Gonalons and Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi.
It will be interesting to see where Lucas Leiva's fate lies once the winter transfer window re-opens in January.
