Leicester City tracking Carlo Costly
Honduras' international forward Carlo Costly is a target for newly promoted Premier League side Leicester City. The 31-year-old, who had a spell playing for Birmingham City back in 2009, is apparently looking for a return to England.
Costly took part in Honduras' World Cup campaign and actually scored a goal against Ecuador in Curitiba in the first round of the tournament. His 7 goals in qualifying guaranteed a place in Brazil for the Hondurans.
The Foxes' manager Nigel Pearson is said to have been watching Costly in action closely throughout the tournament.
Leicester City have been linked with numerous strikers so far this summer but are supposedly most interested in a player with experience and Costly could be available for around $1 million from his current club, Real Espana.
