Roma sign Magpies defender
Roma has completed the signing of Newcastle United defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa on a season-long loan.
It is believed that the Italian giants have opted to sign the French international on loan for the season, with a permanent deal likely to be on the cards next summer if he impresses.
The former Montpellier man will act as the perfect replacement for Moroccan international Mehdi Benatia, who joined Bayern Munich earlier in the summer transfer window.
Yanga-Mbiwa joined the Magpies from Ligue 1 side Montpellier in 2013.
