Liverpool to table bid for Fabian Delph
Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph is wanted by Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers is weighing up a £7.5 million bid for the England international, whose contract will expire in the summer.
Delph has decided to quit Aston Villa and leave on a Bosman transfer in July, but Liverpool are desperate to find a replacement for the outgoing Steven Gerrard now and it is understood that Delph is their preferred option.
The 25-year-old moved to Villa from Leeds United in 2009 and has gone on to play over 100 games for the club, but is hoping for a move to a bigger club to boost his international ambitions.
Delph has three caps for England and made his international debut in September 2014.
