Stoke City confident of Saido Berahino signing
Stoke City are confident of wrapping of sealing a summer deal for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino. The Potters had failed with a late bid for the player in January.
The 22-year-old is expected to be on the move this summer after he stalled on talks over a contract extension.
According to The Mirror, Mark Hughes' side are heading the queue to land the Burundian-born footballer with long-time admirers Tottenham Hotspur no longer interested in his services.
Berahino, who has one year left on his existing deal, could be available for a bargain price of around £13m in the transfer window.
The former England Under-21 international scored seven goals in 32 outings for his club last season.
